📖Crystal properties📖: Arfvedsonite has a bluish-black to black colour and is a very rare stone that is found in Greenland, Russia, Denmark, and the US. It was first discovered by a Swedish chemist by the name of Johan August Arfwedson back in 1823. It has a monoclinic crystal system with a Mohs hardness of 5 – 6. With its specific gravity ranging from 3.3 to 3.5, it belongs to the Amphibole Supergroup.
