📖Crystal properties📖: Red Jasper is a form of chalcedony, which in turn is a form of quartz. Red Jasper is an opaque, microcrystalline variety of quartz. The term "jasper" itself comes from the Greek work iaspi, meaning "spotted stone." The best visited deposits in the modern day include those in India, Russia, Egypt, and the southwestern United States.

📖Crystal properties📖: The name ‘Aventurine’ comes from the beautiful shimmering finish of this stone. Its name relates to the word aventurescence, which refers to the “glittery” effect of tiny particles of highly reflective mineral contained in a less reflective whole. The precise mineral that gives Aventurine its distinctive green color (when it is green) is Fuchsite, which appears in tiny particles within the matrix of the Quartz crystal. Aventurine can be found in many different places across the globe. Including Tibet, India, Chile and Brazil, Spain, and Russia, among others.

📖Crystal properties 📖: Obsidian means ‘of/from Obsidian’ if translated from its Latin name Obsidianus. Black obsidian is also known as Royal Agate, Xaga, Glassy Lava, Volcanic Glass, and Glass Agate. It is born out of rapidly cooling lava flows from a volcano. Black Obsidian has been around since the prehistoric times. It was used to make arrowheads, spear points, and other cutting tools. Obsidian has a 5.5 on the Mohs hardness scale which makes it relatively easy to use for artists and artisans. Obsidian is mined in different locations all over the world, such as the USA, Turkey, Scotland, Peru, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Mexico, Kenya, and Japan. You can also find it in Iceland, El Salvador, Greece, Guatemala, and Australia.
