Azurite Malachite is a gemstone crystal that combines two minerals: Azurite and Malachite. Azurite malachite is made up of two popular gems, the Persian word lazhward which means blue, combined with the greek word molochitis, which means mallow plant in English. These healing gemstone crystals are often foun ld in copper-mining areas. The stone is mostly found in other areas where copper deposits are present, such as in the USA, Southeast Asia, China, Africa, and Central America.Azurite Malachite is a soft vitreous, silky, glassy to dull stone with a hardness scale of 3.5 to 4 at Mohs. It has an opaque surface and gleams some green and/or blue color.
