📖Crystal properties📖: Larsonite, also sometimes called Mcdermitt jasper, or Gary green jasper, is a rare and unique variety of green petrified Bog wood which was discovered in northern Nevada in the early 1970’s. It is believed that it’s origins can be tied to a previous eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano a few million years ago!
