Polychrome Jasper Ring

I created this beautiful Polychrome Jasper ring with stainless steel. The ring is adjustable (fits most adult sizes) and is comfortable to wear! 

📖Crystal properties📖: Polychrome translated means Multi Color Jasper. It’s also known as Desert Jasper or Royal Savannah Jasper. Found in 2008 in the mountains of Madagascar. 2 additional deposits have been found throughout the island. Interestingly, all materials should be hand-dug because of the difficult conditions and terrains. It is composed of silicon dioxide and features a hardness rating of 6.5 – 7 on the Mohs hardness scale. Polychrome Jasper is a dense, microcrystalline variety of Chalcedony. It is a distant relative of Agate and typically forms from the deposition of Iron Oxide on a cavity wall within a volcanic rock or ash-flow tuff. This creates small fibers that mix into the surrounding material giving Polychrome Jasper its distinctive appearance. The individual strands of fiber create bands of color all running in the same general direction giving Polychrome Jasper a distinct striped or swirled pattern. Polychrome Jasper comes from several locations including Madagascar, Italy, Bulgaria, Australia, and China.
